Keep on Truckin’…

I spent last week at a nature photography workshop in the Upper Peninsula.  There were nineteen of us in attendance and we each took hundreds of shots of waterfalls, big Lake Superior waves, sunrises, sunsets and more.  But it was this old truck along on a two-track road that caught the eye of more than a few.  Parked under a stand of maple trees for most of the year, this 1956 Chevy Flatbed dump truck is still used to haul wood that heats the home and other buildings of the property owner during the long winters.  Fifty-seven years and counting, this old rig is the definition of “Keep on truckin!’
