Happy St. Patrick’s Day

In case you haven’t thought about it yet, St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner.  The day when everyone who wants to can be Irish for the day.  The shamrock plant in the kitchen window somehow knows it too and flowered a few days ago just in time for the holiday.  Enjoy the pictures and March 17th…welihan 20130315 Shamrocks-09243welihan 20130315 Shamrocks-09280-2welihan 20130315 Shamrocks-09233welihan 20130315 Shamrocks-09229     responsibly.

Chinese New Year Dinner in Photos

Almost every year in February for Chinese New Year, my wife Joanne plans a great dinner party for friends.  She starts her preparation days in advance.  On the day of the meal she cuts, chops, slices and works over a hot wok long before our guest arrive.

While she is hard at work, I take advantage of the late afternoon sunlight radiating through the west windows and take pictures.  Here are a few shots from a recent dinner.
